Currently Playing:  Dashboard Confessional - The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most

Greetings to all!  Figured it was time for another post. :)  I just got off work.  Actually I got off almost an hour ago, but I finally got to sit down.  Work was pretty good tonight.  We were super busy the whole time, which was good because it made the night go by fast.  The highlight of my night was definitely my break, for mulitiple reasons.  Well, here goes the random thoughts of today...

Tomorrow is Andrea's bridal shower.  It should be a lot of fun.  I gotta get up early to clean and run some errands.  I don't think we're going to have a big turnout.  It'll probably just be her family and ours, but it's still going to be fun.  You just put her mom and my mom together and you know there's going to be fun. :)  I still just can't explain how happy I am for her and Mike.  She's just so awesome!  Tomorrow is going to be great!

I shouldn't listen to awesome music while I blog...it distracts me.  I end up singing and rocking out instead of typing.  Focus, Kim, focus...

This weekend should be fun.  I have the shower tomorrow and then a concert tomorrow night.  Sunday I'm having a party and you are invited!!!!  Yes, you!  I don't care who you are.  If you are reading this, then most likely you know me and are my friend.  So, get your booty down to Sullivan on Sunday around 1 or so.  Bring your swimsuit and an empty tummy.  Bring the swimsuit so that you can swim (duh) and bring an empty tummy so that you can fill it with Dave Brewer's legendary hamburgers!  It should be a great time, so come!

I leave for Venezuela in 6 days.  A week from this very moment, I will be in Caracas.  That is hard to believe.  I think I'm getting more and more nervous everday, but still excited.  Speaking of which, guess what I got at Wal-Mart the other day???  Seriously, guess............................(giving you time to guess)....................  Nope, that's not it, but close!  I got a Spanish Bible for only $1.47!!  Isn't that awesome!  The whole Bible in Spanish for $1.47!  I was excited!

I somehow misplaced the packaging slip that came with my computer so I couldn't send in and get the $100 mail-in-rebate.  That sucks.  But, in a way it's my fault.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute to send the rebate form in.  Oh well, it's just 100 bucks, no big deal.......;)

I've forgotten how awesome this album is....

I was looking through some of my music the other day and I realized that I have about 5 or 6 completed songs of my own.  Now, I know for some of you more experienced musicians, this may not seem like a big deal, but it is for me!  Heck, that's half of an album!  This makes me very happy. :)

So far, I haven't changed my mind about my major.  Still going with Elementary Ed.  This is a good thing.

I love the 90's rocks!!!!!!!

Andrea introduced me to something wonderful the other day...myspace.com.  It's kinda like another blog website, but it's kinda cooler.  It's more musically oriented.  You can look up bands and what not on there.  It's pretty fun.

Well, I guess that's enough rambling for tonight.  Wait!  No it's not!  I haven't talked about my amazing worship experience that I had the other night...

So, I went to the Michael W. Smith, MercyMe, and David Crowder band concert the other night and it was awesome!!!  Brooke called Tuesday night and decided not to go, which bummed me out, but I understood.  But, I had no problem finding someone else to go with me since my mom is a die-hard MWS fan.  BTW, big BIG THANKS goes out to Brooke for the tickets!  You are awesome and I love you!!!!  Anyway, the concert was amazing, that's all I can say.  It was seriously just a three hour long worship service.  Something Mom and I both really needed.  We've both been kinda stressed lately and it was great to just go and worship and forget about work and all the other craziness of life.  Dave Crowder was awesome, but the crowd wasn't really getting into him too much for some reason.  I loved him, though.  Although he only played for like 20 or 30 minutes which kinda stunk.  Then MWS came out and was later joined by MercyMe and they played a few songs together.  Eventually MWS left and it was just MercyMe.  They were awesome!  I could have just listened to them the whole time.  Then the opposite think kinda happened.  MWS came out and joined MM and eventually MM left and it was just MWS.  He was as good as I expected him to be.  The end of the concert was the best.  MWS, MM and Dave Crowder all came out and led a few songs.  It was awesome.  Then, we ended by singing "Awesome God."  The instruments faded out so it was just our voices and then everyone started to clap to the beat.  I can't really describe it, but it was beautiful and amazing.
Then it was kinda abruptly stopped by the Verizon people raising the house lights.  All in all, it was a great time.  There's just something about having a really stressful week and then just being able to go and sing your heart out and really worship God for a few hours that is just amazing.  I can't really describe it.  It's a great stress reliever. :)  Also, besides the amazing concert, it was nice to have some mother-daughter time.  I really love my Mom for everything she is to me and I love being able to hang out with her and listen to my music and look over and see her kinda bobbing her head along to the music.  She's so cute!

Ok, now I think I'm done rambling.  I hope everyone is doing well.  And don't forget...Sunday, 12:30 or 1ish, my house in Sullivan, pool party!!!  Be there or be square!!!...(man, I'm a dork)

Goodnight, all! :)
